Backstage is the solution of my research-driven project, focused around developing ways to support local musicians. The proposed app allows community members to find independent musicians and events with ease. In addition, it creates a space for local creatives to collaborate and share skills across different mediums, effectively building a stronger community that gives creatives the opportunity to grow. Using personal research to guide me in my process, I was able to speak with local bands and venues to expand my understanding on the competitive music scene within Northwest Arkansas.
